my shoes are a slingback....and the strap for my ankle is kind of loose. (it's not a very elastic strap) my question...is there any type of like slip guards or something that can be bought to keep the slingback part from constantly sliding down on the day of my wedding???

That's a good question. Would you be able to put another hole to make it tighter? Then again you could make it too tight. I would see a shoemaker and ask them or better yet do a search online. I'm sure there's something out there for every problem.

try taking the shoes to an old fashioned shoe repair guy and ask what they suggest you do-- i'm sure they can help you out!!
there is one in smithtown right on main street-- RIGHT next to the old $2 movie theatre which is now a playhouse...
