Question about slipper baskets

How many slippers should I order if I am having 125 guest? Also should I mix it up with two colors or stick to one color? Anyone know where to get the slippers cheap?

Just out of curiosity are you offering slippers for the guests to change into at the reception??? I have never heardof this but think it is a Great idea!

yes. I want to have chinese slippers wrapped in organza bags and placed in a basket on the dancefloor or bathroom for my guest to change into. Like the pic below (thanks Goldi for the pic!)

I am doing this, but not wrapping them in organza gift bags. It looks great. I got them for about 1.00 each at mysisterusa.com

For 160 guests I ordered 100 pairs. I think they had a minimum.

Do they double as favors or is that in addition to favors? This is the first time I have ever heard of this too and I think it's adorable! I wish they had this at all of the other weddings I went to....would have save my feet!!

i plan on doing this too. i'm going to go to china town in NYC and get like 50 pairs for a wedding of 150 people. i'm going to leave in them in a basket the women's room.

We have about 120 guests, I bought 48 pairs - white and gold alternating colors:

I am so happy you posted this. Where I am getting married the cocktail area is uncomfortable cobblestone and I have to order them. I couldn't find really cheap ones.

I went to China Town and got 50 pairs for $60. I wanted all black and most of the online websites wouldnt let me order just one color at a discount rate. I know alot of girls also said the dollar stores carry them. You really have to bargain with them in China Town because the starting price was $3.00 pr pair.
