Question about STD's

Question about STD's

Should I be sending anything with my STD's, (ex. driving directions, or hotel options for OOT)???? And how would I do that? Should I print them up myself, I'm confused!

you might refer folks to a website and have all the information there if you don't want to add much to the actual STD.

Driving Directions, probably not (include those in the invites), but if you are having some hotel rooms reserved, it wouldn't hurt to either mention your wedding website, or just add a line 'rooms reserved under RVC Bride at the RVC Marriot--516-555-0011'.

If you are having a large # of ooters, including a bunch who've never been to NY before, you might want to add more detail. Since I'm having a lot of those (NY Newbies) I'm including hotel info, airport info, and other 'to dos' while on LI.

Also, if you were going to include more, you could definitely print it up yourself (its not the formal invite, so save the $$!)

Thanks girls. I just blocked off 10 rooms at the Wingate Inn for people who may have had too much to drink, or my wedding party. As far as the OOT's, that's all family, and they are staying closer to my parent's house. Can i give multiple hotel options?

Wingate is sending me cards to send out with my STD's, which explains everything. (directions, etc.).

I listed hotel info for those guests taht would like to make early arrangements.

An option that you might choose is to set up a website on the knot or some other webservers that are for free and it will list all of the hotel options that you can just give people the website so that they can have all the information ahead of time. Let me know if you have any questions!

I included my website info and the hotel cards that the hotel gave me. They had the room rate, directions, reservation #and ammenities listed. I may reinclude them in the invites.

I am also putting the website on my STD since 99% of the guets will be from out of town.

Mostly all of our guest are out of town so we sent as much info as possible. We also have a website that we update with info for the ooters.

We got STD magnets and I had the hotel send me direction cards to them and when they need to book a room by. I didn't send anything else with them. The hotel did it at no charge. They came out very cute. We just ours out about a week ago. They were a hit!
