Question about stretched earlobes

FH's sister (one of my BM's) has stretched earlobes--about the size of a dime i think

i wanted to give all my BMs earrings as part of their gift.

she obviously cant wear them though, right?

Should i still give earrings to all the other girls or should i scrap the idea and get them another piece of jewelery to wear.

By stretched, do you just mean she wore a lot of heavy earrings and they 'sag' for lack of a better word? I can't see why she couldn't wear them ... my mom's earlobes are a little stretched - she's 58 and has been wearing earrings for 30+ years, so I would expect that - but she wears earrings all the time.

Did I miss something?

I would scrap it and get another piece of jewelry. Are your girls in tea length dresses? I would do an anklet then. I LOVE anklets...

I don't know - what would your girls wear if you didn't provide earrings? Would you just ask them to wear simple ones so that one doesn't have 4' earrings and another 1' for pics, or do you not care about that?

i would just have them wear whatever kind of earrings they want. but i thought it would be nice to get them something and i love earrings.

i guess she cant wear regular earrings right? lol they would just fall out?

I don't know why people do this. I don't want to insult anyone that does this but sh*t, when they get old, it will NOT be appealing. I would opt for a necklace and bracelet set instead. Go to www.JTV.com and look for some sets.

I watched an episode of extreme makeover where the person was then in her 30's and regretted it, and had to have several reconstructive surgeries, and it still did NOT look normal... I wish people would have some common sense and think about how they're going to feel when they're 50 with huge ear holes or a tatooed face.
