Question about Table Numbers

This may be a stupid question, but I'd appreciate some help'

Usually, the table numbers that are provided by the RH are displayed on some sort of metal rod with a clip that holds the piece of cardboard or paper with the number on it.

Is it ok to use those stands with custom-made table numbers, or is it necessary to buy frames if you make your own?

i think it depends on what the place has, those stands may not be enough to hold what you make.....
our place has numbers in frames for free, so we have to look more carefully next time we go to make sure that is what we like, then decide

You can use what they have for stands but you have to remember to use the same dimensions of what they put in the stands. Like if you make a bigger card with a number it may flop.

gotcha...i wasn't planning to make table numbers because i didn't want the added expense of buying frames, but if i can make it in a size that fits the existing stands...i smell a DIY project brewing...
