i am going to get my first tattoo (a little nervous) the fri before Easter- cause my sister will be home from school and she wants to go get another one as well...(she has 2 already and is only 18 lol) so we are going together
but i dont know where to get it... 1. lower ankle right behind the round bone lol 2. lower middle of back 3. lower side of my back hip 4. lower side of front hip
just nervous about #4 cause when i get pregnant i dont want it to stretch out or look ugly
any suggestions or which one would look best??

I put my tatoo (my sorority letters) on my lower back and unless I am in a swimsuit, no one ever sees them, which is what I wanted
I almost did my ankle, but some jobs have 'no tatoos that show' policies and I wanted to wear cute shoes without worrying about my tatoo showing.

I'd do the hip, my aunt had one and she got pregnant with twins. She had a behemoth belly and stretched right back into place. I mean, the tat went from being about 2 in wide to 8 inches wide and stretched right back....
I want a tattoo soooooooo bad. I just have to find the right artist.

I have a heart on my left hip and that is my favorite place for a tattoo (IMO)!! Noone ever sees it unless I have a bathing suit on, so it is easily covered. I don't like to show it all the time that is why i chose that spot. I actually forget that I have it...LoL. I have it pretty low on my hip so I am hoping that it won't stretch that bad when I get pregnant but FSIL has two in the same spot, has had two kids in the past two years and her tattoos went right back to shape after she had her kids!!!

i have one in every place you mentioned except for 4 mine is around my belly button. so i am ok with all your choices lol i like the ankle though

I would really advise against the ankle. I have two tattoos on the back of my leg, close to my ankle and a vine around my ankle and onto my foot. I liked them at first, but now I hate them. It looks funny in strappy shoes and I always feel unsophisticated at elegant affairs when my ankle tattoos are showing. I am seriously considering removal. Unless you want to go all out or will be in LOVE with your tattoo, I would really think hard about where you get it. I regret mine.

Like I already said, I have the tramp stamp as well.. And when i was wearing a shirt while teaching, it was once noticable. I reached up to pull the blind down for the projector and my shirt rose a little in the back. The kids of course saw it and it caused such a commotion! So just make sure you wear long enough shirts.

they were like... ooooooh. Ms. B**** has a tattoo!! oooooh!!! And they kept asking to see it and what it really was and what not.. but i ignored them and kept going on with the lesson

i have a tattoo in the #3 position... the thing about tattoos is that they always hurt in the begining, but after like 2 mins the skin goes numb and you cant really feel it... but the #3 spot doesnt hurt too bad
