Okay here is what happened. My FH and I choose not to put two much down for our registy because we are renting a room right now and we have to move again at the end of the summer. We have a storage unite that is full and we really don't want dishes, beding and other things that will only clutter and be extra weight to move! My FMIL contacted us and told me we had to register for gifts for my E-party that is coming up the 25th of June. They were talking about us registing for all of thee above and when we explain our sistution they still instisted. Then my MFIL suggested that we have a honeymoon registy. Where everyone would pay for honeymoon. But I got to thinking about a house registy. So I contacted my bank and they don't do that. Does anyone know of where we could open a registy that people help us get a house?

Maybe you can store it at your MIL's house?? Or come up with a cute poem or something asking for cash gifts or gift certificates only.

Re: Question about the gift Registy
No. My FMIL would never do that. My inlaws have no desire to help us out at all. Infact they have told my fiance family NOT to give us money at all. My fh fathers parents have to pull him on the side to give him money, and told him not to tell his mother.

Re: Question about the gift Registy
Check out felicite.com. You can make a registry for anything on there and people can contribute to it. You can even do a house fund. What we did was added a Tempurpedic Mattress. People can just give a portion of the total too.
The best - you can put any thing you find on the web in one place - so you can have a house, honeymoon, housewares registry all in one.
