I went to the INN on saturday and feel in love with the place but I think I added too many things to the menu which made the price of the dish pretty high, anyone willing to give a price range on how much there paying or got a quote for them? I think if I take out some of the add ons, it will be less but Im wondering how much less. I got $280 a plate after tax and service charge which is wayyyy too much with a few add ons from their regular menu

Re: Question about The INN
it depends...what day and what time of year... I know a sat night during off time they gave me a quote that came out to be around 180 incl tax pp with no add ons... and I know a sat night in sept ( our original idea) was 180 pp before tax or any add ons...crazy! so for sat night your looking at about 150-180 pp plus tax so that really turns out to be around 180-200+ with the tax sun night your looking at about 115 pp for Nov... it comes out to be around 150 pp including tax. I dont knwo fri night prices bc it was out of the question.. but i think they would be close to sun niht so if you saud you added alot then that could be one reason why ...but dont expect it to be tooo much cheaper...its expensive!

Wow! Just out of curiosity, what did you add? That seems really high! I'd want breakfast, lunch and dinner for that price!

Re: Question about The INN
well I think each of those items were about $15 each pp. So right there you are talking $30 - 45 pp with the tax and gratiuty. It could even be more...I really do love the place though...What month were you looking at?

Re: Question about The INN
Hey Cristina!!! Congrats on getting engaged! I haven't seen you in years! Just to let you know $280 is insane for the inn at new hyde park. You can have the destination cocktail party package at woodbury country club for $175 which is an amazing wedding! (We went to one this past summer and it was fantastic!) But don't forget you usually have to meet at least a 200 person minimum for a Sat. nite! Make the hunt for the perfect place fun and check out a bunch of them!

Re: Question about The INN
Wow 280! Maybe you can try another date... if you want to get married in july why don't you try July 3, 4, or 5. I'm sure you'll get a much better price. Reception halls are always less expensive on a holiday weekend.

Re: Question about The INN
Congratulations! I booked my wedding in 2010 also. I started looking at the summer but realized with the number of guests I have (300) that I had to move it to November. They were fair with me in that they held the 2009 pricing instead of increasing it because we were ready to book. It sounds like you added alot of dishes and of course that raises the price. I went back three times because I too fell in love with the Inn. There is so much food maybe you need to take a few things out. It's worth going back they are very flexible and want to give you the perfect wedding.
