a lot of you say you post on the knot. i've gone over there a few times but can't seem to find the message board. i found one board, but it wasn't like LIW at all. can someone please redirect me?? thanks!

Click on Chat and then LOCAL and there should be Long Island Chat. The board is not organized like this one. There are boards about reception ideas, dresses, etc... but people from all over post. It is good to get ideas but not to get vendor info.

Some of them don't even like sharing pics. That is the point of posting them. So you can share your ideas. We do not really know each other so what if we have the same styles?

I use this board a lot more for chatting obviously b/c it's format is perfect.
However, I'm on the knot.com and love the bio's, I also think the tastes of the ladies on the knot.com are different than the ones on here.
I frequent the NY Board often (once/twice a day) and have gone to a few GTG's - so far so good.
this is the link for the LI board on the Knot, I love it over there and only came here one day b/c the knot was down. There are certain boards that you want to stay away from but the local boards, especially LI, are great!!
