How many songs are you putting on there. I feel like a royal PITA but I have like the majors during ceremony and dances and then like 10 for cocktail hour (I want to set a certain mood), about 10 for dinner/reception and about 10 for dance/party songs. Oh yes, and about 20 DO NOT PLAYs. Is this demanding too much?

I talked to my DJ on the phone earlier this week and we had a discussion about the Do Not Play list. I told him it's 3 pages long. He said no problem!!

I don't think it is at all - it's YOUR wedding!! We hired a DJ to just play the music WE supplied and make announcements, he said it makes his job easy then.

I gave my DJ 2 pages of songs - all types and several Do Not Plays'... he asked me what to do if someone requested a song from the do not play list then told me we were one of the most prepared couples he had ever worked with!
