When do the guests throw birdseed/petals/bubbles/etc.?
It seems as though it is after the ceremony, but if the bride and groom leave first, how does that work? Does the couple go hide while the guests assemble outside?
We're having our reception at the church... and we're changing into different clothes before we leave, so we couldn't do it then, like I have seen some people do...
Help!

Re: Question about timeline....
Good question.
The only thing I can think of it if you are having a receiving line you would do it after that?

Hmm, not doing a receiving line. Maybe do it instead of that? Still not sure of how to do it...

if you ask the church they can tell u.. most likely its been done before.. as you do the receiving line the guest walk out so you're the last ones out

the only way I know of doing it is the bride and groom have a recieving line and that is how all the guest get out before you! Not sure of another way, I guess you could just stand at the back of the church out of the way until everybody gets outside?!?!

Re: Question about timeline....
ask the photographer to tell everyone to throw the 'stuff' after the receiving line' THat way everyone gets good pics and so does the photographer.. I have seen this done a couple of times.. Some times the bride and groom has to walk back up the stairway to the church ..
