Question about tipping my hair/makeup people...

I have the hair/makeup person and assistant come to me the day of the wedding. Since she owns her business, I didn't think I needed to tip her....but I just read this:

Hair, Makeup & Nails: Whether you go to the salon or the pros come to you, you tip the hair stylist, makeup artist, and manicurist just as you would normally, about 15% to 20%. If the bridal party is paying for their own services, it's nice if you take care of the gratuities, but of course it's not necessary.

Which is right??

My belief: whether they own their own business or not, I tip at least 15%, 20+% if it's a job well done.

I agree with Christine, I tip no matter what.

dang - that is like a $150 tip for Mia, considering she is doing my hair and makeup and all of my bm's......

oh, well. if she deserves it, then she deserves it

She's doing my ahir and makeup, and I'm tipping her at least $60...my bm's are getting their hair and makeup done - but they're paying and they're tipping...
