...which is why I didn't bother to search!

We discovered our Banquet Manager will not be the Maitre D the day of our wedding, someone else will be doing this. Do we have to tip both of them separately? Or is the tip for the Maitre D included with the astronomical 18% they charge already, and the tip for the banquet manager what we calculate separately?

My friends used to work at Crest Hollow- The maitre d and the bridal attendant are not included in the 18%. I am 100% sure about that. I don't think you need to tip the anquet manager but that I am not sure about.

You have to tip the Banquet Manager too??
I thought that the Maitre D was the only one to get tipped extra ($1-3 per person).

That's very good to know. I had no idea about that!

Why don't they TELL YOU this stuff?

I'm not sure, it's just what I assumed since we have been working with him the most....are we supposed to?

We just tipped the MatireD' not the banquet manager.

You do not tip the banquet manager. He makes a comission of booking you.
