When exactly do you use these? Only for the best mans toast? I saw a pair of flutes for $265 yesterday and was like WHOA! I would never spend that much for something being used for such a short amount of time. So what are you opinions on these? Are you spending mucho mooola on these or getting lower priced ones that will be nice also?

Re: Question about toasting flutes
We're not using our's at the wedding. We're just going to use the ones from the hall. I've heard too much about halls breaking the bride and groom's toasting flutes, or them getting lost or left behind, so we registered for pretty cheap, but nice, ones and we will use them on anniversaries. Hope that helps.

Re: Question about toasting flutes
I went to edit the post and my poll closed. Oh well! The way I see it is another thing I won't use. I am not a champagne drinker so I won't use them for future. But it might be nice to put them in a curio in the living room or something.

Re: Question about toasting flutes
I think my mom is going to buy us moderately priced ones for my shower - nothing engraved - they will probably just say bride and groom or something on them. We will probably use them to toast every anniversary and keep them with all of our other barware items.

Re: Question about toasting flutes
I found some funky red glass ones online. What do you think?
