Question about TTC

I am supposed to go to the doctor just when we decide to start to TTC, of few months before to make sure it's all good downthere?

I think you would call and they could give you some pre natal vitamins and a prescrip for more, but i dont think they will give you a pap if you dont need it.

I didn't go before TTC. I just started taking a multi vitamin with Folic acid. I don't think it could hurt to call them and ask. Maybe they can start you on the good stuff right away.
(i.e., prenatals) I think they have the max in Folic acid. Baby Dust to you!

If you are due for your OB GYN check up, go, if not, do what Suzanne & Mrs May said. I am taking Centrum for prenatals for right now, that is what was recommended to me. I used to take other huge horsepill prenatals but they said Centrum is just as good.

I had gone to my OB 6 months before trying. The reason I had to was my check up was due and I was on birth control pills. I'm also very neurotic so I wanted to make sure I was doing everything right.
When you visit your OB and tell them you are going to start TTC they will give you your vitamins and paperwork on how to change your diet and lifestyle. At least that is what my docotr did for me. Also I got bloodwork done to make sure I'm not carrying anything prior to concieving.

It doesn't hurt to go to the dr....

Oh the vitamins that are the BEST... are Prenate GT.
