I'm not a fan of the tux being all matchy matchy with the BM dresses. Do you think it would be terrible if I had the guys wear Champagne color vests with black tuxes next to the either deep wine, eggplant, or navy BM dresses? (can you tell I haven't picked a color??)

no i think its fine, it wont look bad. If the colors go well together then i think it should be fine...I am probably gonna do the same, if fh wants the same color then fine but i wontmake him pick the same colors as BM's if he doesnt want to

They don't have to match. I think Ivory would look good with any of the colors you listed. I don't think I will have our GM match to our BM either...especially if I decide to go with pink. I would have them wear silver vests.

NOT a fan of matchy matchy either
we went to a tux shop and the guy was awesome ( we had just got the limos and went in to look, lol we didnt get anything yet)
my girls will be in dark blue, the guys are going to be in black tuxes with black vests FH is going to be in a pin stripe tux with a black vest that has a 'black on black' pattern
The guy said if i wanted to - to make them match a little - to save the material cut off my dress and hte BM dresses and FH will wear a pocket square from my dress and the guys will wear ones from the BM dresses. . . love that idea!

that's what I'm doing wtih my dress.. making a pocket square for FH's tux!!

nah you dont have to do same colors. a friend of mine did navy blue dresses and yellow vest. It looked good together!
