So, I never bought myself a pair of Uggs cause I think they are kind of ugly. My hubby bought my daughter and me each a pair for Christmas. He bought them from Zappos or Amazon..here is my question..mine are black and the 'suede' doesnt feel suede..it is so soft it feels fake like fabric or like microsuede.
I started researching fake Uggs and I also read that Uggs come with a care booklet in the box..these didnt. They came only with a card that said how to authenticate your Ugg australia product. It is a sun logo which is kinda like a halogram..which they both have.
Boxes say..made in Vietnam which I read is where they make them now (and in China)
Do you think these are real?

hmmm my box says made in china
no care booklet... a care card and an authenticate card
if they came from zappos, i would assume they are real

I have 3 different pairs, and none of them ever came with a booklet. I bought them at bloomingdales. The suede isn't really a 'suede' its just soft feeling suede like material. If they are from zappos they are 100% real.

ther material is softer then suede, and I've bought two pairs, neither had a booklet, one set from the outlet in riverhead. I think you're probably safe when buying from a major retailer like that.

If they came from zappos I am sure they are real. Amazon though I dont know about. If you go to the ugg website it lists their authorized online sales websites and amazon is not listed...

Zappos definatly does not sell fake uggs. I dont think the outside is suede..it doesn't feel like suede. i got two pairs from zappos- I dont recal getting a book though. I got a pair at bloomingdales this year and I'm almost positive they didnt come with a book either.

the outside is the microsuede which is softer but more durable, and the inside is the sheepskin lining.
I have three pairs and they never came w booklet. IO wouldnt go by where they are made either because the company could have just changed locations.
