How close to your dress color does the veil color need to be? to me it looks as though my veil and dress color are pretty close in color. Or just as long as it close and looks good with your dress?

i think as long as you are happy and think it looks okay, then it is ok!
Personally, I am a bit of a 'matchy matchy' type, so my veil will match the dress.
However, my sister got married this weekend, and wore a veil that was cut from the same material as her dress, and it looked like a totally different color. go figure.

When I ordered my veil from Barron's, I never even thought about the color in relation to my dress!!
I did have the matching pocketbook with me & I assume Yana knew best! It was never even discussed ...

As long as it looks good its fine...my dress is pure white and so is my veil but I had a lace trim put around the bottom (taken from my mom's veil) which is slightly off. It still blends because the veil itself is pure white.
