I'm looking for a videographer that is under or around 1,000. Does anyone know of a decent one? Is it possible to find someone like this?

Hi- My advice is to be very careful with this.... A few people on this board got burned going with this guy who charges a mere $800, but stole the money and the videos!!! Magic Flute has a package that is 995 and they are beyond wonderful, but I would call a reputable company like Wild Rose, Bellarino, Platinum and ask if they can't accomodate you, is there someone else they could recommend at that price....

Thanks girls! yeah I heard about that! We are splurging on other things so I wanted to see if I could find someone who is around a 1000 but decent. I'll give those a call. I wouldn't go with someone unknown.

LCA Productions a vendor on this site has packages starting at 995. I haven't met with them yet.

Definitely check out Bellarino -- they will just do raw footage if you want.....

Snowboard - I think almost all photographers have a videographer that they recommend. I would suggest meeting with their recommendation but also see others. We just booked with Wild Rose over the weekend and we couldn't be happier. They are wonderful.

I wanted Bellarino as my first choice, as my budget was the same as what your looking for. Sadly, they were booked for my day. I went with Candlelight- for a bit more money.

go with BELLARINO- they did my wedding and they are absoulutely wonderful and the video came out fantastic.

Remember to be very careful. Research the vendors A LOT and notice the difference in quality among them.
