I know most have /or are using the vellum paper to label the names on the votive holders..But I was just curious.... Is there any reason why you couldn't use clear address labels with the printed names on the frosted votive holders instead?
TIA!

Re: Question about votiveholder placecards

FH And I were going to do this, but decided to use the template from Michaels. I don't see why it won't work. Let me know how it goes!

Re: Question about votiveholder placecards
So, did anyone actually use clear lables on frosted votives? If so, did it work?

I am thinking about doing it= I think it would work if you didn't have the label go all the way around.

Re: Question about votiveholder placecards
I used the clear address labels and they came out fine. Some had a few bubbles, but I just smoothed them out. Plus I put the candle in and lit it and you can't even tell it is a label.

Which size labels did you use?

I used Avery label# 8663. I also used votive candles instead of tea lights. I did a test and the votives were better on the burning time then the tea lights.

I don't think the clear address labels are as easy to read when dark out and lit up

Well a friend of mine used the labels at her wedding in May and they were fine with the votive candles.
