So here's my thing ... We are having a full mass ceremony so my priest said between the service, recieving line and pictures I should plan to be there 2 hours. So by the time we leave there and get to the gardens it will be about 3:30 so we have 2 1/2 hours to take pictures at Westbury Gardens. Then we want to shoot over to the hal to take pictures there.
Do you think this is too much time? My family REALLY wants to be at the cocktail hour. I can move it up one hour to 2pm but I wasn't sure if that would leave me enough time. What are your thoughts. Now I'm stressing out LOL

Leave yourself enough time. You never know you may hit traffic or decide to change a location last minute. Weather could affect you. Leave yourself enough time. That way you wont freak out about time restraints & you can get pics wherever you want. Just my opinion.

Thanks!!! You just made me feel better about it. I just hate feeling rushed. Especially since there are 36 people in our bridal party [including parents] and it's going to be such a pain trying to organize these photos.

No rpob. Hey my ceremony is at 2:30 & my reception is at 7pm. So i figure (since i too have a huge fam) my receiving line at the church will be at least 40 min. Cermony is 40 & the pics at the church after. It will be 4:30 by the time i leave. The Fox is about a half hour from me (barring no problems). Ill have 2 hrs to get pics at the hall & grounds. As long as i get at least a half hour in teh cocktail hr ill be fine.

Re: Question about Wedding Date & Time under pic
What I'm afraid of is that the weather is going to be so crappy that we won't be able to take pictures (I think we're taking them at Bayard Cutting Arboretum which is 2 mins from the RH). Then what will we do for 2-2 1/2 hours?!?
Another concern is what time will the afternoon wedding at my RH, if there is one that day, end so we can take pictures at the hall and on the grounds before CH. Do I leave the start time at 7 or bump it up to 6:30 so there is more daylight to see the beautiful view from the room and patio? I don't know what to do!

I was concerned with that as well. Especially since Im a February Bride. I called my hall & asked them what time will be ok for me to get there to begin taking pics. They said 5/530 so its almost 2 hrs before my wedding. Thats great! I want some pics in the park near us first as well but being outside for to long in February isnt that great of an idea brrrrrr. So we are going to do the best we can.
