When buying wedding rings, who is supposed to pay for what? If my ring costs more than FH's, does that mean he pays for mine and I pay for his? Or do we split the total cost 50/50? Or do I pay for my own and he pays for his own?

to be honest, if you guys are paying...it's all the same money since you are getting married... my ring was more money than DHs ring, but we just paid for both with 'our' money

We did the same. I put the deposit down since I went and ordered them by myself. DH paid the balance when the jeweler gave them to him.

we budgeted our wedding bands in our 'wedding fund' so it'll just come out of there.

same here .. i purchased fh at a great price and i put the deposit to hold mine ..and he has the honor of picking it up
