This is really stupid...or maybe not, I just have no idea, and don't entirely trust it to go off without a hitch if I'm correct.
Day of, who has the wedding bands? I know the best man holds them...but then how is the photographer getting all these pics of the rings? I'm assuming more often than not there is NOT a photog at the groom's house, and often the pics are with the rings in front of the invites, and let's be real here, the groom doesn't have his spare invite laying around for photo ops.
What is everyone planning on doing? Keeping both rings with you in the morning for pics, and then handing them off to the BM right before the ceremony? Or have the BM keep them right from the get go? Not that I don't trust FBIL, but the way that family rolls, something is going to be forgotten that day.
I can't even hand off the rings when FBIL comes to drop off his sister/pick up the boutonnieres, because that will be at 11.30-12, and the photog isn't even coming until 12.30-1.
Has anyone else even given this any thought? Or what did the married girls do? Thanks!

Thats a GREAT question because I was wondering the SAME EXACT thing!
One possibility is I can give it to my MOH to give to the BM that morning as soon as they all get to the church... =/

I had the rings for the pics before the church.....When we go to the church I had a BM give them to one of the GM who handed them off to the best man.....a bit crazy but it worked.

we have 2 photogs so i guess fh will have them and he will just take them there

See, we have 2 photogs too, and as of right now I'm planning on having one go to FH's for pics, but I feel that if I entrust them for any of the 'detail' shots there, they won't get done. I guess I'll have to have one of my sister's give them to FBIL as we line up in the church lobby, and watch my SISTER is the one to forget then

I am holding on to both rings so the photog can capture them then my MOH is going to give them to the BM before the ceremony

I am going to give both rings to my mom the day of. She is taking them out of her safe anyway. I figure it is one less things the guys can forget! They are taking care of so much already for us!

I was so nervous about this. DH held on to the rings until the morning of when the BM( DH's brother) took them. To make them easier to manage I took them out of the boxes, and put them into a Tiffany ring pouch. BIL put them in the inside pocket of his tux, and took them out when the priest asked for them. Our photo took pics of our rings at the reception. He asked us to each take them off, took the pictures, and then brought them back to us. Hope that helps some? Good luck don't stress too much.

Oh wow I didnt even think about this!!! Maybe I'll hold onto the rings for when the photographer comes to my house and then have a BM bring them to FH's house after (we live very close). Or maybe give it to the best man at the church.
