All together? My comforter set is $229 for King size - comforter, 2 pillow shams, bedskirt.

The sheets we registered for were $99 a set (but recently went on clearance).

The pillows I already bought and set aside because I wanted specific ones (down).

Honestly, if it's the only one you can agree on, put it on the registry. So long as you put items in other price ranges, it's ok to put an item that's $179 for the comforter alone. Just make sure you put the other stuff that goes with it too.

Put it on the registry and move on to the next task

I'm sorry, but that's funny! It's his bedroom too, though, and he deserves to feel comfortable in there. And, believe me, you'll appreciate him being comfortable.

We didn't register for all-new bedding as we had a lot of stuff already. I think all we got was a new mattress pad & a lovely blanket--everything else was new bath stuff. But a lot of our stuff is expensive as I love Garnet Hill sheets.

There's nothing else you like? Or is it a problem of where you registered? Is it too late to open another registry with different stuff? It's better than having stuff you don't like so much and is too expensive so you might not receive all that much. I did a wish list at Garnet Hill with not many things because I wanted their towels (since I love their sheets so much, I figured their towels had to be good.) And we ended up getting everything from there plus a big gift certificate.

So, if you're registered at BBB, try Macy's, or Target, or somewhere else. Target has some surprisingly nice bedding.

FH just pissed on my parade and vetoed EVERYTHING I picked out. We're in a rush to pick a set b/c my shower invites are going out any day now.

We were lucky we found a great bed in a bag set at BBB that we both like. The set is $150 for 2 shams, bedskirt, microsuede comforter, 2 pillow cases, top sheet & bottom sheet. We also registered for another sheet set that is $80 for the set and an additional $30 for two pillow cases.

For some reason, bedding was a big pain in the butt for us. First we couldn't find anything either of us liked, and then we couldn't agree. We ended up going with very neutral colors and it all worked out. I agree with Yesenia - put it on, at least for now, and see if you find something better as you go along.
