My aisle runner is 3 feet wide. How big should I get the monogram blown up? I def want it spread across the 3 feet but how tall (inches) should I make it?

I think my rule of thumb would be to use the dimensions of the runner. In your case being 36' wide I'd want the largest letter in my mono to be at least half that number in height, so 18' tall.
I guess you could start there and lay it out on the runner, step back and judge you may prefer larger or smaller!

I just pasted paper on the floor to guestimate the 18'. I actually think that would work. I want to go get it blown up at Kinko's now.
