Question - Bridesmaid Clucthes

I would like to get my girls a clutch as part as their thank you gift.
I am having such a hard time deciding which way to go.

They will be in a statin a plum/eggplant gown, asked to wear any silver shoe. I have gotten a champange colored flower for their hair. My colors are very much plum, gold champagne, ivory.

Do you think a silver cluth will go ( will it clash with the whole gold tone i have goin on?) - should i stick with the plum/eggplant color(I will neevr find a mtach and that could an issue for me lol) I was trying to find a sparkly clutch, but i cant find the quality i want without spending 200+

Suggestions welcomed :)

I would go for a gold tone. I assume the dresses are long since you went with a silver shoe, so they won't really be seen, but everyone will be able to see the hair piece you got so I think it's best to match that.

I wouldn't try to find something the color of the dress unless you know someone who can sew and you pick a fabric yourself. You'll drive yourself nuts trying to find something in a store or online.

Personally I would skip the clutches. You will want the girls to carry the bouquets and not have to worry about the clutch.
My bridesmaids bag were always off to the side or locked up in the bridal suite.

I didn't carry a clutch for my brother's wedding and I was in the bridal party. I had a tote bag that I used all day. I left it against the wall next to my table. Only took my lipgloss with me to the bathroom since I got my MU done that day.

The clutches should match the shoes. I purchased gold clutches inexpensively in Manhattan. The bridesmaids used the gold and I managed to get a burgundy color for my maid/matron on honor. I also attached some really pretty flowers to the clutch, which the girls could remove. In the purse, I enclosed an engraved makeup mirror, and a gold bracelet. My girls LOVED them.

I got mine a Coach wristlet in their color. It's nice enough to be used for the wedding and elsewhere.

I ordered custom clutches for my bridesmaids that were fabulous. I worked with Jenna of Jenna Lou Designs. She helped me pick the perfect fabric to match my girls plum dresses. You can google for her website or she has her etsy shop up but I would contact her directly for custom work. I highly recommend! Also my girls did not carry them down the aisle, it was just their clutch for lipgloss, cellphone, etc for the day.

If your colors are purple and gold, why are they going to wear silver shoes? Shouldn't they be asked to wear gold shoes? I think the clutch should match the the flower and I think the shoes should match also.
