My FH just wanted to hold the scanner. He could care less what was actually being scanned!

LOL FH wanted to choose EVERYTHING himself! Right down to the pots & pans! I had to draw the line when he scanned a $500 barbecue at Target though but I let him pick most of it - he did a good job

Well, when Fh told me he wanted a 50s futuristic house, I took it upon myself to correct his vision of our home!

In the store i just pointed and he scanned. Some things he said I dont think so on and didnt scan. Some things he said I would really like this and did scan.

But now, OMG I was just posting about this on NWR, I am on a roll right now in ADDING to our registry.

We registed for a few items for the e-party and then when we came home from the two stores, i went on line and added a few things.

Now when he is at work I go on all day and just keep adding to the registry. I cant stop. and he has no idea what I have added.

I didnt do any linens or bed stuff yet because we are going to wait till the house is built, but I have tons and tons of kitchen, table, and accessories added.

He didn't want to be there and honestly after about an hour of him yawning and whining I didn't want him there either!! So I have decided to just go by myself from now on and make my life alittle less stressed!

How about this for embarrassing:
When I was in Macy's with FH, the bridal consultant said, 'Wow, it looks like someone's been a busy bee online at night adding to their registry!'
In front of like 2 other couples! I felt like I committed a sin!

were going to pick out everything together, when he sees something he likes he can scan it, and when i see something i'll scan it.

Just wait till he has the scanner in his hand, he won't want to hand it over! FH was pointing it at the ceiling to see if he could see it all the way up there! He's such a child sometimes!

Our Macy's consultant was a bit of a loudmouth chatterbox too... FH has a lot of visible tattoos and she kept commenting on them and asking if he's going to 'cover up' for the big day and stuff! It was funny how she said it but I've never seen him so red!

Mine picked out the cookware but I picked out everything else. And then months later after I told him what I picked out , he said 'where did this come from? you didn;t tell me blah blah blah' LOL yes I did and you agreed with me! ha!

i did 3 stores online...
i was just telling him about what other FH's thought... and i told him i was going to target.. he said he would go with me.. that he wants to be part of it(but i get the final say)

My FH went to all three stores to register. He had fun with the scanner. But he is soooooo funny because being we both had our own places he kept saying....'we have this & that'. I told him YES but I want NEW! A girl only gets to do this once in her life. I explained that he had to think of it as a MEGA wish list for all the things thathe would love but would never really go out & buy. He wanted a Fondue set soooo he got it!!!!

FH said as long as we have stainless steel appliances, that's enough to satisfy his 'futuristic' needs in terms of home decor. haha. He's a weenie. Gotta love him!

LOL.... FH wanted nothing to do with it until another bride on this site told me that Home Depot has a registry... now he wants to go there! I may jus6t let him do it for his 'tool' party.

Butterfly20- Just be careful with Target and registering online. I noticed when i went to the store and printed out my list a whole bunch of stuff the store did not have or it was discountinued and I know nobody will order from online. Also when i registered for the tupperware the store had different UPC codes then online and it wouldn't show up on the list.

OMG mine also wants to register at Home Depot too, when I said Noooooooo, He thought about and and said Ok, then we'll register at Home Expo!!! Sneaky, he probably figures they are inter-changeable

Mine put every kind of gadget he could found on the registry. He held the scanner and I had my list of what we needed. I'm always being organized!!

we did it online together for the most part. But we'll see when it comes to actually going!
