Question for a Friend...

Hi ladies, I figured I'd turn to the wedding experts of LIW... My friend is having a VERY hard time deciding on colors for her bridesmaids (which I am one of them - heehee). Anyway, she has her heart set on Sage for her sister who is the MOH. Originally she wanted Champagne for the BMs, but is having mixed thoughts. I've suggested everything I can think of, but so far no luck. What color do you ladies think would go best with Sage? If anyone is using these types of color combo's would you mind sharing any pics if possible?

Sage is a hard color. You don't want to get easter egg looking. What about doing a darker sage for the MOH and lighter for BM's? or vise versa???? Or even a buttercream(pale yellow) for BM? Just a thought.

I say go to the store and try them on next to each other, to see if they look good together. Good Luck!

You can either go with a Kiwi color or a Celedon color. They both go with Sage.

Thanks! It's funny you mentioned Easter egg... someone already told her that! lol!

She considered yellow, but decided against it... I guess she just needs to go look. Thanks again!

OH she doesn't want different shades of sage because she wants her MOH to stand out... back to stage 1! Thanks Jar!

Definetley go to the store and mix and match with the swatches - the people where would def have ideas on this too!!

Does DAvid's Bridal have the color sage, becaseu since they have a bunch of sizes in each dress, why don't you go there to decide on colors, you can try on different dresses to compare instead of a swatch.

Everyone can be in the same color- let the MOH wear a different top or different jewerly if she wants. I had my MOHs have different flowers to set them apart from everyone else.

MY cousin did sage, although i personally did not like it, she did sage for the Jr. bridesmaids and forest green for the rest of us.. if i can find a pic later at home i will post if for you..
