For those who had a church ceremony, did anyone NOT have to go to pre-cana? I have scheduled mine, but I did not know if it was required toget married in the church, or if it was something that they just recommend you do. Any info would help, thanks.

in order to get married in a Catholic Church, pre-cana is required by the Dioceses.

Our Church required us to do Precanna. It honestly wasn't that bad though

yes it is a must. between foccus and pre cana it helped prepare us for marriage, so in a way i think it is a good thing. i did the weekend thing.
