Question for all 'pregnant before the wedding brides'

How long before the wedding did you wait to get you dress fitted? I just found out that i am pregnant (last week). I am 6 weeks. My first fitting was supposed to be May 1st but i dont know if I should put it off alittle longer...My wedding is June 2nd

I did not experience this, but you should talk to your seamstress, she would have a good idea of what you should do, and how much you might grow in a month.

First of all Conrgratulations!!!!!!!!

By the time of your wedding, you will be 13 weeks and probably NOT showing all that much...does your dress have beading or rouching throughout the waist?? Is it an empire waist?

I wouldnt hold off....see the seamstress and let her know...she would def. be able to judge.

I would suggest going May 1st and the week before the wedding just to make sure....

Congratulations!!! Definitely talk to the seamstress about your fittings, they'll know what's best to do!!!
