Have all of you done your hair and make-up trials yet? If not, when are you going to?
Im getting married in October and still havent!!! Is this bad??

Some of the more popular h&m people might be booked already. I would start calling around and seeing who is still available and set up trials.

thats not bad! i had my first trial hair and makeup trial in the end of april and im getting married in august... going for a 2nd hair trial next week!

I'll probably do mine like late August/early September. If I do my trial too early I'll end up changing my mind. My friend/coworker is doing it for me (I work for a big makeup company) so I'm not worried, the beauty piece of wedding planning is by far the easiest part. Its nice having one thing to not worry over.

My hair is being done by my aunt but I haven't done the trial yet. However, I waited until this week (with my wedding a month away) to look for a makeup artist. I'm having trouble finding people that aren't booked. I would start sooner if I could. The earlier you look the more options you'll have.

Well thats the thing....I already have my make up artist and hair stylist....just havent gone yet. hahaha! At least I know Im not the only one

I did my trial last year bc I was afraid of people booking up – plus I wanted to see how it would hold up in the heat!
I used Elena from A Bridal Touch – she’s a vendor on here. I have pics in my album.

Yes, I had them done in May and I booked with the person ... I do plan to have another one done though because I liked the idea of what she did but I want to iron out the details with her.

I went for my makeup trial like 4 months ago and my hair like 2 months ago. So i suggest definitely start looking now i remember Hair Genie being booked on my day.

I have had mine and am booked already...I did it months ago but I am very OCD so don't go by me...you still have time...but I would start going soon because you may not like them and you want to leave yourself time to shop around so to speak.

I have my hair and make ppl too, i just haven't gone for a trial either, I will prob book my trial the month before. i also wanted to wait for my veil and headpiece to come in...

I am getting married in October and wont do a trial untill September.
I have the place booked already and will just do a trial to make sure we have a great look for the day of.
I always wondered why brides get their trial done months in advance. Now it makes sense that Its more to 'try out' the artists. So if its not to your liking you can book with someone else!!!
DUH!!!!! (on me!!)
But since I have my person I am going to do a trial in September. Its a well known salon so im not worried. My inlaws have been going to there for 35+ years.

I have my make-up girl...working on the hair trial now.
No it's not bad, you have some to play around with what hairstyle you want. When you get it done make sure you plan something fun with your FH or girlfriends.

I haven't done either yet. My regular hair person is doing my hair for the day of. Haven't had a trial yet. I'll probably do it once I figure out my headpiece. I've been using her for years though and trust her 100%.
