Can you still Highlight, or straighten your hair when you are pregnant? My guess is that you can't......but just want to be sure. Thanks girls

I just highlighted my hair yesterday and I am 19 weeks. I was told by my dr. after your first trimester.

my dr had said it was ok...and that I could still get my nails done (wrapped)... ..hmm seems sooo long ago!!

Well my cousin is a hairdresser and just gave birth to a beautiful 8 lb, 6 oz baby boy at 1:13 p.m. this afternoon! So if she can be around all the color, dyes, etc for the 9 months she was pregnant (and she worked 50 hours a week all the way up until Saturday) and give birth to a healthy child then I think it's OK for pregnant women to get their hair done once in a while.

I was told no dying of the hair or highlights I would not do it just to be safer

I did highlights after the first trimester. No base color just highlights.
