Make your own pizza, so many ways to make it to keep the points low.
I have been on it for weeks and lost nothing. But I will not give up I lost 50 4-5 years ago and never gained it back WW works.

Re: Question for anybody on WW

hi! i actually work for ww and have been doing the program for over 5 years now. it sounds like to me the reason why u only lost 4 ilbs is because ur not following the plan on weekends. i've learned when i follow the program sometimes, then i lose weight sometimes.
here are some tips to keep u on track:
1) to take care of ur pizza craving have a slice and a side salad so u feel satisfied
2) make sure ur getting the 3 servings of dairy. i know w/o my yougrt and special K in the morning i'm starving the rest of day. what are u having for breakfast?
3) have plenty of lowpoint snack on hand:
lite string cheese-1
baby carrots-0
fat free sugar free pudding-1
fat free sugar free jello-0
apple slices-1
smart pop popcorn-2 points for the whole bag

also if u feel like ur never satisfied why don't u talk to ur leader about switiching to the core plan?

my mom is on WW and she is following the core program. She feels you can eat more food on core and when she needs her carbs or sweets she has the extra 35 points per week that she uses. Stick with it it works.

Re: Question for anybody on WW

I've found consistently working out helps with the 'cheating' on the weekends...not saying it's good to not follow the diet Fri-Sun...but I've lost and been able to maintain with the help of working out 5 days a week....

Re: Question for anybody on WW

balance it out with exercise.. I eat alot of foods that replace the old 'fatty ' foods .. i eat a ton of high fiber foods, lots of selter water.. no caffine, no soda..
i look for whole grains.. and yes the hunger is going to last a couple of weeks.. it will go away.. just eat low point foods when you feel hungry

Re: Question for anybody on WW

a thin slice of pizza is only 6 pts, go for it! I go overboard at dinner, especially on the weekend... what works for me is that I start my points at dinner every day.... so my day is dinner, breakfast, and lunch, then I start again at the next dinner... so technically my day goes from 7 pm to 7 pm instead of 7 am to 7am...it works, try it!

make sure you're eating enough fiber and drinking enough water. for snacks, have something with fiber or protein to fill you up longer. oatmeal for breakfast keeps me full all morning. try to eat a lot of vegetables - I always make a huge salad at dinner with lots of lettuce, spinach, etc, so i dont' want as much of the entree or dessert.

drink diet soda or seltzer to fill you up between meals.

fiber one granola bars make great snacks or desserts, and so do 100 cal packs.

keep it up - and exercise regularly. you'll lose! believe me!

Re: Question for anybody on WW

Try making 'pizza' with light whole wheat bread (2 slices for one point) with no point sauce (you can make it yourself using some canned tomatoes and garlic, salt, etc. - I add mushrooms too) and low fat or fat free cheese (2 points approx.) and toast it all. I also sometimes add turkey pepperoni to have 'pepperoni pizza.' This does it for me and is only 3 points without the pepperoni for 2 slices.

Thanks Guys!! i really do need all the support i can get... I am determined to lose 15 pounds by my wedding. i just need different ideas.. hmmm i never thought about the low fat string cheese.. i love cheese! the hardest part during the weekend is watching everybody else pig out. Also, i know excercise is key. but with all this wedding planning & i commute to the city its a little tough.

Ok enough excuses... tomorrow is a new day & i am not giving up

Thanks for the all the encouragement & tips

Re: Question for anybody on WW

I found that switching to a more filling breakfast really helped me stick to the diet. Every morning I have an egg sandwich and it keeps me full until lunch. I have a Light Thomas English Muffin (1 pt), 1/2 better n eggs (1 pt), 1 slice of fat-free cheese (1 pt). I've also found that yogurt is a great snack. I like the crave control ones that have the cereal pieces in them and they're only 1 pt.

Good luck! WW really does work, you just have to find ways to make it work with your own body.

Re: Question for anybody on WW

did you try eating some peanuts? Nuts are pretty filling and although they are fattening, they are not all bad fat and are satisfying in small amounts.
