Question for anyone that sent invitations overseas

i'm going to the p.o in an hour to get one of my invitations weighed.

did anyone hand stamp or get stamps for your overseas invitations. do they even hand stamp the overseas ones?

more importantly, did you write 'airmail' on them? I forgot to but does the P.O. stamp it for me? I normally write it myself if I'm sending over a regular letter but I don't feel like writing it on all of them tonight.

Thanks!!!

I bought the special air mail stamp. It only cost 60 cents for each envelope. Plus the post office handstamped it airmail.

i think 60 cents is only to Canada and Mexico...Europe is $.80

I had my invites weighed and then bought the appropriate stamps.

BTW - the post office is closed today

ETA: I did not write Airmail on them. They got there fine.
