any advice for makeup (foundation, eyeshadow, and lipstick) that will stay put throughout the day?
I have done my own makeup before when I was a BM, for my wedding day I think one of my BMs might do mine. I've heard MAC is very good and lasts a long time. You'll def want to wear a spot concealer, foundation, powder, and maybe bronzer too. I would suggest going to the MAC counter at Macys or something and have them do your makeup, tell them its for your wedding and what look you want to go for. You could also go for a makeup lesson where they teach you how to get the look you want. Good luck!!
im not married yet, but i hate every make up trial i have.. i finally fell in love with Bare Escentuals mineral powder... i hated the trial but i think im going to use this makeup and do it myself... i would also like some advice from passed brides who have done theyre own makeup... !!
I did my own make-up and used mostly MAC products. I used Estee Lauder mascara and Clinque lipstick. I had to reapply my lipstick throughout the day, but other than that everything looked great the rest of the day, no touch ups needed.
