Question For Brides Who Used Or Are Using Twelfth Night...

My FH & I have 2 photographers that we really like. One is Twelfth Night and one we are seeing Thursday night. We loved Twelfth Night but one thing we are up in the air about is the 2nd photographer. The one we are seeing Thursday includes the 2nd one, but Twelfth Night charges for a 2nd one. Has anyone used only one photographer with them? How was it? Do you have pictures? We both really loved them and their style and this could be the deciding factor, I'm not sure what to do. Do they add one to the package for free? (One photographer we saw was willing to do that when they knew we wanted it). Any help you could give would be appreciated.

I think you may have been misinformed, twelfth night doesn't charge extra for 2 photographers

The sheet they gave me for the Basic Photography Package (sorry about that, I should have mentioned that was the package we were looking at) has one main photographer shooting traditional & photojournalistic style and a 2nd photographer as an upgrade. We are also not including video (although I saw their video samples and they were great!). I asked him about that package and he said it included 1 photographer. Did we misunderstand? I appreciate the info because we really loved them!

I visited Twelfth Night last week and youre right. The first package is only one main photographer who shoots in traditional and photojournalistic style. You can upgrade for more money with a second photographer. I loved them also. Dominic was awesome.

really? My sheet says the basic package includes one main photographer and one assistant photographer Maybe it was changed since then?

IMO -- I think you might regret only using 1 photographer. The good thing about having 2 is that they get different shots! One may be on one end of the room and see some great shot and vice versa. Think about that before you choose a photog for sure

I am using 12th Night .. I have Dom and Geraldine .. and they are great to work with.

i am using twelfth night.. i don't think one photographer covers the entire wedding.. i would double check them.. they are so easy going & helpful. I am sure they will clear everything up. They don't seem to be the type to push something on you that you don't need.

They really were so helpful. We spoke to Dominic and he had such a great personality. He said his brother(?) was available on our date and because of the great reviews from everyone here and his approach to each wedding, I have complete confidence that whoever we get from there would be great. I would love to have 2 photographers, that would be great.

an assistant is a bit different than a second photographer

Talk to Dominic about your concerns. He may be able to shed some light. His brother (I think his name is Anthony) has done some really great work for LIW brides. You should search for 12th night and I'm sure you'll find some proofs that have been posted.
I've heard of photographers that offer an assistant for free. If that assistant is taking pictures think of him or her as a student or an intern taking additional pictures at your wedding. If you're OK with that than go for it. With 12th night you get two professional photographers if that's what you want.
There are some brides who have only used one photographer. Do some more searching here you've find some strings and possibly some reviews of the results.
