Question for brides with DIY centerpieces...

Who did you get to set them up for you before the reception? I am considering buying all the materials to make my own centerpieces (candelabras, votives, flower petals, etc.) but I have no idea how I will get them set up! Is that something that the reception hall might do for me (for a fee, perhaps?)
I really liked the candelabras I found online, but I'm starting to think it would be so much easier to just have a florist make floral centerpieces that they set up themselves.

I had this question! If you are at a RH, you should be assigned a 'man' to work with you . Or a woman, whatver the case may be. They are the ones that look after you all night and make sure everything runs to a T-why you tip them at the end.

I am also having the best man's wife help em set up because she is great like that and will do whatever I ask of her. She loves throwing paries and decorating so I trust her.

What I would suggest to you if you have complicated CP (we have vases and photo frames so we need to be cler how we wnat them set up) is to do one or two arrangements as a trial and then photograph them so they can see EXACTLY what you want. Same goes for any guest table or cake table ideas you have in your mind a certain way. Sounds neurotic but when i mentioned it to her, she was all for it. Just helps everyone feel more secure and guarantees you get what you want. Also, clearly label any boxes you transport materials in, saying where it should go-almost like moving.

Also, do a practice at home of how you want everything set up and take a picture so you can give to the person setting everything up.
