Question for E-Party

Our E-Party is not until April 23 (too many scheduling conflicts), I am trying to get ideas rolling and buy things bit by bit. I know we'll be having place cards, and wanted a little something to 'spruce' them up without breaking the bank. Any suggestions?

Also, I am doing candles in votive cup holders for favors (DIY), would it be too much to have personalized matched made up also? I would only get 50, so it'll be fairly cheap.

Also, any other ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

I like the matches for weddings not the E-party but that just me.

The votive place cards are a nice touch. The cake can be something creative almost artlike like a special object of some sort.

Hmmmm. Thanks for those ideas. I know the candle in the holder idea is easy and inexpensive b/c I did them for FSIL's bridal shower in May.

What I was going to do was use tealights in the votive cups b/c of the way the lip of the cup is, a votive candle sticks out. The tealight looks better. I will have to take a pic and put it on here (can't do that til Fri b/c my brother is out of town w/ my digital camera).

Any other ideas?
