Question for East Wind Brides

Just wondering if any of you ladies did the room block at East Wind for your wedding or if you are doing a room block at another local hotel? We are having our reception from 1-6pm and we are not sure what to do because I know that is something you would have to reserve early there. It would be nice to maybe have a little after party at Desmonds. Anyone have a price quote for East wind rooms by chance also? Thank you :)

Question for East Wind Brides - Long Island Weddings

I did both! I have 27 rooms booked at East Wind I am a Friday summer wedding rate was $199 for EW and then another block at Holiday Inn for $239 a night. You may get cheaper because you are April but out East during the summer prices are so expensive! They also don't do shuttles to any of these hotels hope this helps!

Question for East Wind Brides - Long Island Weddings

I, unfortunately, waited too long to book my block and they only have 6 rooms available my night :( So I'm going to have to do a block somewhere else and figure out a shuttle. I'm so mad at myself for waiting too long.

ETA: my Saturday night price is $279

Question for East Wind Brides - Long Island Weddings

My Saturday night price was $179 for East Wind but I ended up doing a block at the Hilton Garden Inn for $119 since the FILs agreed to pay for the shuttle. HTH!

Question for East Wind Brides - Long Island Weddings

I got $279 for Saturday and $179 for Sunday. I did a block both at EW and the Hilton Garden Inn and Holiday Inn Express to give my guests options since most are traveling from out of state. I haven't set up a shuttle yet, I'm going to see where my guests book the most rooms and set a shuttle then.

Can you let me know who you worked with at the other hotels? I have to set up a block at another hotel because I waited too long.

Question for East Wind Brides - Long Island Weddings

I worked with Melissa at the Hilton and Marielle at the Holiday Inn Express. There's also the Hotel Indigo, but their guest rooms are a bit smaller and they tend to be a bit more expensive. I've also looked into the Fairfield Inn Medford, they are nice and pretty inexpensive. I'm trying to get my guests to book in Riverhead since its closer, but if I run out of rooms I'll go there.
