Question for East Wind Brides Who Already Got Married or Are Close to their Wedding

Who at EW have you been in touch with? What was the time frame? We booked in March, are getting married in December, sent in our payment on schedule, but have heard nothing from EW.

How close to the wedding do you really start communicating with them? When do you talk about menu, cake, etc.? Thanks!

I booked EW about 2.5 years before my wedding and spoke with Barbara and Mike and kept in touch with the wedding planner, Elizabeth. As long as you make your payments on time they really have no reason to contact you.

They will send you a letter about 6-8 weeks before the wedding to make an appointment for menu, cake, etc. and will give you homework (table seatings, guest list, instructions for favors, etc.) After that you make an appointment for 2 weeks before the wedding to hand in the paperwork and make the final payment and then an appointment the week of to drop off everything for the ceremony/reception.
