Do you have to wear one of those crinoline things under your dress? Is anyone not wearing one?

Re: question for everyone
It depends on whether or not your gown is puffy enough on its own..... if it's meant to be princessy, and w/o the slip almost looks like it's sagging, then yeah, you need a puffy slip....

Re: question for everyone
I wasn't going to wear on because I thought mine was already poofy but then I tried it on and everyone at the store and my Mom, MOH, and BM thought it looked even better so now I am wearing one.

Same w/ me. I bought a EOM gown, and thought it was too much with a slip, and they told me that it won't look right if I don't wear one...So Yes for me

Re: question for everyone
I was absolutely adamant about not wearing one, but they made me put on the dress with one on and it made it look so much better.

I'm actually wearing a hopp skirt that way iget the 'poof' effect but dont have to have all that crinoline material rubbing up against my legs. The hoop is actually very comfortable and flexible and Ilove what it does to the dress.

I am not wearing one because I am wearing an A-line gown and I dont' want my dress too puffy.
This why i did not wear one....
plus the gown has aenough layers and poof as it is.... i definitely didn't need one...

Re: question for everyone
i wasn't going to wear one at first, but the lady at the store had me try it on before ordering just in case. it really gave the dress a nicer shape, so now i'm going with it.

Re: question for everyone
I am...my dress needed just a bit more fullness. I'm even wondering if I could go fuller!
You can get a slip with crinoline without the 'itchy' part touching your skin. There'd be another layer of fabric over the netting.

Re: question for everyone
I didn't think I would...but when I tried on my dress, I liked it alot, then the lady said that I should try a fuller crinoline (I think I had on a regular a-line) and when I put on the full a-line the dress looked so much better!
I would up ordering from phyllis and didn't try it on again so I have to wait for the dress to come in before I buy a crinoline so I can be sure its the right fullness.
So, yes, I plan on wearing one

I have not decided yet. I could but I also do not have to. The dress is a ballerina-ish style and is poofy anyway. I will have to see.
