Am I responsible for finding someone or paying for someone to do my BP's hair? One of my BM asked who was going to do their hair. I have so much other stuff to worry about that day, I never really thought about that being my responsibilty. Help!

2 of my BM's and 2 FG's are being done by the girl that always does their hair - she's a friend of theirs. My other BM & my MoH are prob being done by whoever does mine.

We are all getting done at the same salon. I am paying for hair and makeup on them, but that's part of their gift from me.

I don't think there is any set rule. If you are planning on having someone do your make-up and hair you could find out if they can do your BM's and at what price. Then you could either offer it to your BM's and let them know they will be paying for it or they can always find there own person. I know some people pay as part of their gift to their BM's for them to get it done.

I gave the information of the person who is doing my hair & make up to my bm's and told them the cost....2 of them are getting it done by the person, and paying for themselves. The other 2 will just do it themselves...honestly, I don't have the $ to pay for it, and i wanted to give them other things as their gift.

you are not responsible....i have been a part of several BP's and often the bride will ask if anyone is interested in getting their hair done with her, and honestly I have opted out of that most times b/c I have had the same person doing my hair for years and would rather go there...no bride was ever insulted, and I was not the only one who chose this...but, not everyone is in that situation where they have a regular person to go to, so asking if they would like to join you is certainly a nice gesture. Definitely not a responsiblilty though

I told my BMs that they can either get their hair / makeup done at the salon where I am going and I will make the appointments for them or they can handle it on their own. I am also letting them wear their hair anyway that they want.

I didnt give my girls any set plans, I told them where I was going, which is a neighborhood salon that myself and one BM go to get our hair done, from there it was their choice as to whether or not get their hair and make-up done, it turns out that everyone except for 3 actually decided on their own to go there (In total there are 8 of us going and that includes my mom)

i am trying to price our options for my girls. we are getting ready really early (like 5am) and we're going to need 2 hair, 2 makeup so we have enough time for everyone.
i booked my hair/makeup people (who are doing me + some of the others), but we still haven't booked the second people. I am trying to price out options for them, especially since 1 is on the fence because of cost. I considered paying $$$ toward their makeup but my mom thought it was insulting to them and said it's better to give them a gift. I would be doing both, but I don't know.

My BM are each going to their own hair people because that's what they wanted. My MOH is doing her hair wherever I get mines done.

Well, I am going to one salon for my hair, and another for makeup. I live in a small town so these are 30 miles apart. I am paying for their manicures and pedicures the day before plus getting them a gift, I just didn't want to have to worry about that on my wedding day, I have even told them they can wear it anyway they want to.

The same person doing my hair could do theirs but they all chose to have someone else do it or do it themselves..fine w/ me.
I would suggest someone or ask them if they have someone in muind to do their hair.

I found someone to do their hair since they are not local, but they will pay for it themselves. Maybe the same girl thats doing your hair can do theirs as well?

we booked 1 place to do everyones hair that day, i think its easier to just have everyone at 1 place as for paying i have never been to a wedding where the bride paid for their hair as far as i have seen the BP pays for that .....if you have the $$ to pay for them then go for it! I am not paying for my BP they are all paying themselves
