I am also booked with them and I have 8 girls needing their hair and makeup done. I e-mailed Jenn about needing another person maybe to help get us all done and she said it is fine and they do not need any help, they will be starting at 7am to be ready for my photog. who will be coming at 1:30 pm. My church starts at 3:30.
I do not want to question her ablility but it just seems like alot of girls in a short amount of time.
How many girls are doing their hair and makeup for your wedding? Is Jenn and Okasana bringing anyone else to help? Do you think they can get us all done in that amount of time? TIA

ya i agree that does seem like to little time..my trial alone took about 2 hours..and im only have me,my mom, and sister (moh) makeup done that day..so i dought shes bringing an extra person

I think they'll definitely be able to get it done, but the first person to get done might not look 'fresh' by the time the photog gets there... Idk. I am booked with them and have total faith in their work, but that is one of my biggest fears... looking like a broke ho by the time the ceremony starts.

Jess, I think it would be easier if they brought someone else. With that many people, some of the girls are going to be sitting for hours. I am ALWAYS the BM who says they will go last and ALWAYS the one who is rushing around and doesn't have enough time to get ready. If they are confident, just ask how long they are planning to spend on each person and tell them that you also all need enough time to get ready. The girls need enough time to get you ready too!

I say trust her. I don't hitnk she would compromise her work or reputation by rushing through people just to make extra money. KWIM?

I think you should trust her...they both have been doing this a long time and know how long it takes for each person. I wish I had more than me, I'd loev to use them, I think their work is amazing!

BM haistyles usually dont take much time and maybe even mention to the girls that there is a time crunch and not to pick anything too intricate.
for the last wedding i was in my hair took MAYBE ten minutes ( she stuck me under the dryer for hours but THAT is another story, LOL - nto Jenn of course )
Also remember that only YOU and your immediate family have to be ready when the photographer gets to your house. You take a billion alone pictures THEN pictures with immediate family THEN pictures with the BP and dont forget all the classic shots like hte dress, the shoes, the bo-k etc. so the BMs can be finishing up in that time

I agree with Tilde.... Your the main concern of the day so the most time will be spent on you and then you have so many other things to do while the girls are getting done. They really are a great team and i think they will make it work. Good Luck

I originally booked with both, but I wound up going with someone else for my hair (i LOVE jen, I just decided to go with the girl my sister used for her november wedding)...but we had about the same amt of girls and the same time frame.....if they say they will be fine, i'd just go with what they say. I've never heard ANY complaints about either of them and they are excellent at what they do. Plus from what i gather from all the reviews, they show up early anyway
