Question for girls having T-Length BM Dresses

Are you having your BM's all wear the same shoe?

I won't be because one wants to wear a higher heel than my other so i will let them wear different shoes but the same color.

I went back and forth with this. At first I was like whatever about the shoes and then everyone was like you HAVE to have them wear the same shoes because you'll see them!! I am not going to be really strict about it, I'm gonna tell them I would like them to be the same, but if they cant agree on anything, at least try to make them similar. My girls dresses are black so it shouldn't be too hard for them to find shoes.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if it was OK to ask them all to wear the same shoe, bc I def want them all to wear the same shoe since they will be showing.
I am leaving my sister (MOH) in charge of this one, she sent the BM's the pic on facebook of a shoe she really likes and they are going back and forth,
'this one is too much $' (mindyou...the dress is only costing $120), 'my foot won't stay in that kind of shoe',
'blah, blah, blah.'
'and can't we just get our own shoe and get it dyed'

She can handle this argument. I just wanted to make sure it was OK to tell them I want them all in the same shoe. lol

Yeah...my girls told me I HAD to...so we went cheap...Payless... $20 a pair...silver sandels...so they can wear them again.

No I'm only asking for the same color. I want everyone to be comfortable that's #1 and I want everyone to wear what they want to bring out their own individuality. If someone told me I had to buy a particular shoe and I didn't like it or didn't fit me well I would be upset. Plus the economy the way it is being in. Bridal Party is expensive enough why MAKE them buy shoesm on top of everything else.

I told my girls something 'strappy and silver'. I figured that was close enough.

No, the girls, purchased different styles, but they're all silver!!!! Three BM are wearing tea length dresses, with the MOH, Donna's Sis, wearing a gown. Mary MOB

So speaking of tea length BM dresses and shoes what about pantyhose? Or are they called stockings? Whatever they are called are you asking your girls to wear them or letting them do whatever? I dont care about shoe style but Im so torn on the pantyhose/stocking thing.

since my wedding is in august, I doubt they will wear pantyhose, but if they wanted to that's fine. I doubt anyone would notice that.

Sort of. I told them all to get the same shoe, but some couldn't find it so they found similar shoes (I don't think anyone could really tell the difference).

I think it depends on how much you want them to match. I think if they all had different color shoes on it would look really weird and I think having them all have such similar shoes looked really classy. It's up to you.

They are going to wear the same color shoe, but not the same pair. I figured them being comfortable was important. No pantyhose because it will be June, plus I hate wearing them myself

I would like the all to wear the same shoe. And none of them have a problem with it. I am not going to pick an expensive shoe either. And will probably buy it for them as part of their gift.

probably not .... they will prbably wear nice shoes for just the ceremony and then change into flip flops for the reception

for the pics - i dont know a mix maybe?!
