I Just realized I will be getting my Little Friend the First day of my Honeymoon ... Do you know what to do to make sure i dont get it?? Do i have to skip a few weeks or something../???

From what I understand (and you should doublecheck with your doc) - you skip the last row of pills - the white ones...don't take those.
This did NOT work for me once when I tried it but a friend of mine did it recently and it worked out for her!

Talk to your doctor. When you finish the 3 weeks on the one pack just start the next pack right away. You will just skip that month. It's not dangerous at all. That's what all those, 4 periods a year, pills are about.

What kind of pills are you on? It depends on the type..if you are on a Mono Cycle Pill (meaning one level of hormone all month) it may be possible. If you are on a Tri Cycle pill (3 different levels of hormone) you probabaly can't...make sure you talk to your GYN before trying this just to make sure it's safe..good luck

Talk to your doctor, but ordinarily you don't take the last week of pill and just start a new pack.

Talk to your dr but it's best to skip sooner rather than later to adjust your cycle earlier on so you don't have to worry about anything closer to the wedding. I had problems the one time I tried to do this but I know it can be done!

ive done it for a couple vacations and it works...(starting the new pack after the 3rd week...only thing is i had to get special clearence from my doc to get 2 pill packs in one month...because my insurance company didnt want to pay it because it was too soon. so check that out.

check with your dr. 1st I used to be on the same pill as you and when my dr. told me to just skip the placabo's and start a new pack, i spoted really bad the whole month, and she changed my pill to something else, and now i can do it whenever and have no problems

What I do and it has always worked for me, I skip the last row (the placibo pills) and start the new pack right away. You will probably feel like you are getting it and may have some spotting but it is way better then your full on friend! This has not happened to me yet....
You can also use the pill to change your weeks. I forgot how to do that though but you can do it. Check with your doc becasue you may have to start that process a few months in advance.

I just realized I will be getting mine in the secind day of my HM. I'm not on BC yet...anyone know if it is too late to start?

renee birth control usually takes about 2-3 months to regulate in your system

I couldn't agree with that more. I've had issues with BC,other people had none, everybody's experience will be completely different! Somebody mentioned that their insurance wouldn't cover the second pack of pills that soon -- In that case, see if your doctor has samples. Mine usually gave me a couple of samples every time I saw her.

i did this.....u just skip over the white pills & start a whole new pack....some of my friends & fam who've done this didn't have any problems but just be aware that u might! while i didn't get mine on the honeymoon(thank God!) i ended up spotting for about a week and a half before getting it for the next month....so just be aware! however i didn't care being that i didn't have it on our wedding night & honeymoon!! it was worth putting up with the annoyance afterwards!
