Question for girls who like 'designer' 'name brand' stuff

I have 2 bridesmaids that enjoy designer stuff, 1 pretty much only wears Tiffanys (and has a ton of it already) the other, likes LV, expensive sunglasses etc... which is fine by me, everyone loves what they love, so I'm trying to figure out what to get them as gifts.

Honestly, Id rather not buy them a purse or good jewelry, because I know their tastes are particular and I wouldnt want to give them soemthing that isnt their style and they wouldnt use/wear again.

So that being said, I have a question for those of you out there that have simialr tastes to these 2 BMs, both these 2 girls love the beach and baking in the sun. So I was thinking of getting them embrodered beach bags like these..

BEACH BAGS

and stuffing them with stuff like a big beach towel, flip flops etc....

If your style or preferences are similar to these 2 girls... would you like this??????

most likely i will be purchasing them jewelry for the day of, just so they will match, but nothing expensive, since like I said they wont ever wear it again

I think that's cute definitely - I dont know if I'd have them embroidered...but filing them with fun beach stuff is always great to get!

Very cute! Personally I would skip the embroidery but that is JMO. I dunno I am just weird about it.

I got my girls robes and at first I thought of embroidering them, but then I am like whats the point. They will be wearing them around people they know, etc, etc. Anyway sorry for the long response! I do like this idea tho...very personal!!!!

Honestly, there is a vendor on here that does great work for half the price and you choose the ribbon and what you want it to say. It's just embroidered totes. She made all my girls bags and they are amazing and a lot cuter...In my opinion and I think the large tote is 19.00.

I think it's a great idea...

I got my girls tote bags w/ embroidered monograms - and they were a HUGE hit... everyone said they loved seeing their name on something. I got the bags in brown with fuschia thread, to match the wedding colors, and they all used them on the wedding day to carry all their stuff in the limo to the RH.

i used to be a huge purse junkie, although i havent really bought a new bag in a while. i notice quality and I'd probably use a bag like this for the beach but not as an everyday purse.

I absolutely would never use it if it had my name written on it, and while a monogram would be cute my name will be changing soon

also, the mono would have to be first, last, middle... because if it was first, middle, last I would NEVER NEVER NEVER carry it because my initials are

I think you can find similar bags for less, or cuter bags though. I'm not totally sold on the colors but I love the idea. have you checked out LL Bean or J Crew?

i hear what you are saying about the names.. that I will have to think about and determine if they would like that or not. I agree that I often dont like things engraved either. I feel funny walking around with a shirt that may say my name on it.. so the names or initials will peobably be left off.
