Question for High Voltage Brides

I wasnt originally going to use an MC, but i think my parents really want one. Are you using one, and if so who is it? I don't want anyone too over the top or cheesy.

I used High Voltage and we didn't use a separate MC. The DJ will announce everything that is relevant. I didn't really see the point of a MC. Vinny was my DJ and he did an awesome job!!

I hired Vinny to be my DJ and I am not going with an MC, don't need someone on the dance floor getting the crowd up sometimes they bother me at weddings.... Vinny will make all my necessary annoucements and I have every confidence in him that it will be perfect!

We hired Vinny too! We met with many other DJ's who we felt needed an MC and others REALLY tried to sell us on both. I agree Vinny is wonderful and we have no doupts he'll keep the night going. He's very experienced too. Good Luck!

We are using High Voltage but Vinny said for a extra $100 it helps everyone since we are having cocktail and ceremony music to have a extra person. He said otherwise he would have to hire a assistant and that could cost $50-$60 so we opted for teh extra 100 for the MC.

BUT i only say we did it because they are doing all the music from ceremony to reception and setup takes time.

I would get one. We didnt have one at our e-party and we regretted it. It gives a whole different feel to the event. Many times they dont have to be over the top or cheesy.

We are using Vinny! We decided not to have an MC. We went to a wedding that had one and it was REALLY cheesy. There was no down time, he just kept going. I feel like we have enough dancers anyway, we really dont need someone trying to get them on the dance floor, and Vinny said he would do it anyway if people werent dancing. We are however, getting Howie Bongo, and I think thats another reason why we dont need an MC.
