Question for May brides

Question for May brides

Did your immediate family member (mom, dad, etc.) send back the RSVP cards, or did they just figured they don't have to since 'you know that they're coming anyway'?

Just trying to gauge things for my July wedding.

My FIL were teh first response, and I had to drag it out of my parents . my brother still hasn't responded, but he bought plane tickets and booked a hotel, so i'm guessing he'll be here

I had a huge fight with my sister about this 'Well you know I am coming'. She is my MATRON OF HONOR, mind you.

I told her to send in the response because 25 years from now when I am looking back on all my memories SHE will not be mentioned because SHE didn't send in anything.

Needless to say, I received it but within the last week they were due.

I forgot to say that when my FSIL responded she included a note saying that she wasn't sure if she was bringing a guest or not. She's waiting to see if someone can make it. I asked my FI what the hell was the point of her responding? We know she can make it, we need to know if she's bringing a guest. Today is our reply date and we still don't know if she's brining a guest.
