What diapers do you recommend? My MIL keeps asking me about diapers so I have a feeling she might get me a good amount as a gift in advance (who knows could be wrong)

I had tried several my boys are 4 & 7 and my older man liked pampers my younger lived in huggies. I personally liked huggies for my second guy and he is in th epull ups right now due to health problems. But I can only talk from perssonal experience you really have to find out which is better for your child.

I've always used Pampers, first Swaddlers and now Cruisers. Never had one leak, ever!

I use Pampers Cruisers now, but when he was little I used the Pampers Swaddlers. The Pampers Baby Dry leaked constantly, so I switched to the other Pampers.

Definately Pampers Swaddlers for us - they never leaked. Baby Dry were the worst - leaked each time. Huggies supreme were OK, but I had a couple leaking incidents with them. Now we are on to Pampers Cruisers - they too are great.

I love Hugges Baby Shaped, not the Supreme. I've been using them since Day 1 and have never had a leak.

I used the Pampers Swaddlers at the beginning and am using Huggies Supreme right now. I like both.
The reason I switched to Huggies for now is because they fit him better at his current size/weight. The Swaddlers come in Newborn, Size 1-2, and then Size 3. The Huggies come in Newborn, Size 1, Size 2, etc. The Size 2 Huggies fit him perfectly where the Pampers Size 1-2 is too small and the Size 3 is too big. Every child is different.
Okay, enough of my rambling. To sum up, I'd recommend either Pampers Swaddlers or Huggies Supreme. Both work well in my experience. (I personally didn't like the Pampers baby dry... they leaked.)
