Question for my Friday Night Brides

When are you having your rehearsal dinner???

Night before, during the week, or weekend before??
and why if you dont mind lol

trying to make a logical decision

We're (hopefully) doing ours the Wednesday before. I say hopefully bc I STILL haven't been able to schedule it.

Most of my friends and family are taking off the day before the wedding too, so doing it Wednesday night makes sense.

My church said that they only do rehearsal dinners on Friday nights so I'm doing it the week before.

we are doing it the night be4.. I dont want to do it wednessday cause we have O.T.G that arnt coming in till thursay evening and also mostly everone is working the day be4 besides me, Fh, my mom n FH Parents so i dont feel it would be right to ask that of them.. Plus we are havin the dinner end at 10 so i dont think thats late everyone should be fine by noon the next day.

We are doing ours Wednesday right before the wedding. Part of our wedding party is from out of town so we thought it would be good to have it that week. There is so much going on the day before I figured it would be nice to have a night and hopefully relaxing night at home.

We had it on the Weds night before the wedding. I didn't want to do it the night before, it was just too much for me. We had it at the Soundview Cafe in Glen Cove. It was a great success!!

We are doing Sunday, everyone in the wedding works in the city so we don't want them to have to leave work early to get to eastern suffolk since they already have to take off a day to be in the friday wedding.

We have ours the day before....FBIL is in college at New Paltz so he is coming home that Thursday and our readers are from out of town too so it just made it easy to get everyone there

we are having ours the day before since we have a bunch of OOT guests in the wedding who will be landing late on Wed.

I would like to have it the night before ....one of my BM is coming from philly and a few from the city

But FH says its a pain for his guys because you have to get your tuxes from the rental place the night before..he doesn't want to make them run around

anyone know anything about the tux situation

Honestly, the guys dont really have to do a fraction of what the girls have to. It takes like 10 minutes to get the tux. If you have friends and family coming from out of town and the city I would try and make it as close to the wedding date as possible.

IMO I know everyone involved is missing work the day of the wedding I dont want to make then take off any more days then necessary. If I could do it the day before I would.....JMO

we didn't order yet....i guess we could always just use a place over here....i'm in Northport and basically all the boys are coming from bellmore/rockville ctr

don't worry about the tudes...cause anything that you do will not be convenient for everyone

i can put $ down that one or two people won't come at all...and everyone else will make it their business to be there

it would make me soo mad to go out of my way and do it thurs night to make it easy for everyone...and people dont come anyway

i dunno...another thing to think about
